Backend Developer (Intern)

Build server‑side APIs and business logic using PHP and Laravel

Work with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and optimize queries

Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices

Build RESTful APIs that frontend developers can integrate with

Write clean, maintainable PHP and Laravel code with proper error handling

Master Laravel framework features and best practices

Collaborate with frontend team and understand their requirements

Assist in debugging, testing, and troubleshooting backend features

Learn and follow best practices in backend development and system design

Participate in code reviews and contribute to documentation

Foundational knowledge of PHP and Laravel framework (or willingness to learn quickly)

Strong understanding of core PHP concepts and OOP principles

Experience with relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL)

Understanding of REST APIs and HTTP protocols

Front‑end understanding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and practical experience

Comfortable working with Git and version control

Basic understanding of web security practices

Strong problem‑solving mindset and willingness to learn

Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Experience with Laravel features like Eloquent ORM, Migrations, or Middleware

Background in JavaScript backend ecosystem (Node.js, Express, Fastify, etc.)

Familiarity with AWS or cloud deployment basics

Understanding of API testing and debugging tools

Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue)

Hands‑on learning experience with real PHP and Laravel projects
